New Import Law

LEGAL UPDATE: Did you know that to import into Vietnam used machinery, equipment and production lines, including spare parts, components and replacement parts you must now comply with a new law effective 1 September (Circular 20/2014-TT/BKHCN dated 15 July 2014)? For example, machinery used for beer, wine, alcohol, soft drinks production have to be less than 3 years old in terms of use and the quality must be at least 80% of that of the original.
